1. Ownership of Generated Code

This is the most common question we get from Enterprise users: "Who owns the Java classes I generate?"

YOU DO.

Json2POJO claims no intellectual property rights over the output produced by our tools. The code generated is a derivative work of your input data. Since you own your input data, you own the resulting code. You are free to use, modify, distribute, and sell the generated code without attribution or royalty fees to us.

2. License to Use Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Json2POJO website and tools for your personal or internal business purposes.

Prohibited Uses:

• Reverse engineering the parsing algorithms.
• Using automated scripts/bots to scrape the service (Fair Use).
• Reselling the service itself (e.g., wrapping our iframe in a paid product).

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Code Logic Warning: Automated code generation is not perfect. While we strive for syntax-correct Java, edge cases in your JSON (like mixed types arrays) may produce code that requires manual adjustment. We are not responsible for production bugs caused by unreviewed generated code.

4. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL JSON2POJO OR ITS MAINTAINERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA) RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE GENERATED CODE.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Json2POJO from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the generated code (e.g., if you generate code that infringes on a third party's patent and deploy it).

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via a notice on the homepage. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
