Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 15, 2025

1. The "Zero-Knowledge" Architecture

At Json2POJO, privacy is not a policy; it's code. We realized that developers often paste sensitive API keys, PII (Personally Identifiable Information), or proprietary schemas into our tool.

To protect you, we designed our architecture so that your JSON input never leaves your device.

  • The parsing engine runs in the V8 JavaScript Engine of your browser.
  • No HTTP POST requests are ever made with your payload.
  • Processing happens in Random Access Memory (RAM) and is cleared upon page refresh.

2. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as a "Data Processor" that does not actually process data on our servers.

Since we do not collect personal data:

  • There is no database to "Opt-Out" from.
  • There are no logs to request via a "Subject Access Request" (SAR).
  • We are inherently compliant by design (Privacy by Default).

3. CCPA Notice (California Users)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Use of Local Storage

We use the browser's window.localStorage API for a single purpose: User Experience.

5. Third-Party Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to measure site performance (e.g., "Page Load Time", "Visitor Country"). This data is aggregated and anonymous. It does not include any keystrokes or input data.
